Hi! My name is Lily King. I am from a very small town on a very small island in Rhode Island called Middletown. I live in a house on Aquidneck Island with my parents, sister, dog, and two turtles. I graduated from Middletown High School in may of 2022. Throughout my high school career I was on a dance team as well as being captain of the MHS track and field team. I love living on an island because there is always so much to do and so much to see. I love taking long drives down by the beach with my friends. I also love exploring and finding cool new places. I am majoring in nursing here at the University of New England. I am so excited to follow out my career in nursing and someday be either a pediatric nurse or a CRNA. I love kids which is helping me lean towards becoming a pediatric nurse but I also love the science behind nursing so that is what sparked the idea of becoming a CRNA. Thank goodness for nursing because you can switch your specialty as many times as you want which is so good for me because I am very indecisive. I love going to college so close to the beach because it reminds me so much of home. I can’t wait to see how the rest of my college life and future career go!
