I have always made so many changes on my final draft compared to my first drafts of papers. In my first drafts I always summarize things but I never go into full detail about what I am writing about. I write as if I am writing bullet points about what I wanna write in the future of the paper. I feel like it takes a while for me to fully get my ideas out on the document. I am not the best writer and I am aware of that. I think that in the end my papers turned out better than in the beginning. My development of writing from beginning to end focuses mostly on very small changes that make a very big impact. I usually change my grammar around because I don’t focus on my grammar within my first draft. I also change some of my statements because in the end they all don’t make sense in the flow of the paper. I also usually back up a lot of my evidence in the final draft rather than the first. I normally put all my quotes I want to use within my final draft but I never back them up or provide citations. In my final I add very much needed context behind the quotes and in text citations. I also take all of my peer review comments into much needed consideration. Peer review helps me a lot because my partners notice the problems that I usually don’t. I am really glad that we do peer review because it is extremely beneficial for me in the end.
